    Answer to Problem 2 of Homework 5: suppose you have the profiles

    In the first profile, B has no first place votes and by plurality is last. After instant elimination of B, C with 1 first place vote is second and A wins. After the "irrelevant alternative" A is removed from profile 1, in the second profile B wins over C by plurality (with instant elimination of C), in violation to Axiom 2.
